The City of Pelham wants to make water customers aware of an issue affecting only those enrolled in automatic bank drafts whose accounts were scheduled to be drafted on November 27, 2025. A technical glitch between the City and our bank caused some of these accounts to be drafted three times with an effective date of December 2, 2025.
As soon as we identified the problem, we worked directly with the bank to reverse the duplicate drafts. While you may currently see three charges, two of those will be credited back. The correction files have already been submitted with an effective date of today, and impacted customers should see the credits posted to their accounts later this evening. Posting times may vary depending on your financial institution.
